Dr. Seuss’ first book was rejected 27 times.
Stephen King’s first book was rejected dozens of times.
Chicken Soup for the Soul received 134 rejections.
Emily Dickinson was told that her poems were “generally devoid of true poetical qualities.”

“Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.” – Sir Winston Churchill
